How
good do I need to be?
For
the LPW (1) you will be fine if you are
a Rockschool Grade 1 (or equivalent) - you
don't need to have taken any exams. Guitarists
should be able to play and change between
a few first position chords and play simple
riffs. If you are unsure please call us
to arrange an assessment If you are a complete
beginner we can provide individual or group
tuition to get you ready for your first
LPW.
What
is provided?
Drum
kits, guitar amps, bass amps, stage pianos
(electric) and PA are all provided…..bring
your own guitars, effects units, drum sticks
etc

LPW
2: Intermediate/Advanced ages 10 - 16
Cost: £152
for 8 weeks beginning tbc
When:
Saturdays
10 - 12pm
Where: tbc
You
will learn at least 3 songs over the course
of 8 weeks - 1 x Classic Rock,
1 x Contemporary plus 1 x Session song in
funk, soul, motown or pop.
In
the early weeks you will spend time perfecting
your individual parts as well as performing
together as a band (with other students
and the tutors) and then as the course progresses
most of the time will be spent on band performance
skills. Once you have done the course there
will be the opportunity to play at one of
our rock shows.
